Overview

Travel agents needed one portal for searching and booking hotels without moving information manually between steps. Within a session, users need search results, hotel details, room and rate choices, cancellation terms, booking confirmation, and booking history. Credit or deposit information also needs to be easy to find during their work.

My contribution

As a Full Stack Developer focused on frontend, I built login and email 2FA, hotel search and detail views, room and rate selection, booking, booking history, and credit/deposit summaries through Laravel API integration. I also kept search parameters consistent across pages and connected checkout to the 2C2P, GMO, and WEX payment gateway integrations.

Booking capabilities

  • 01Login, session handling, and email 2FA
  • 02Hotel search and result pages
  • 03Hotel details, rooms, rates, and cancellation terms
  • 04Checkout with 2C2P, GMO, and WEX payment gateways
  • 05Booking confirmation and booking history
  • 06Credit and deposit summaries

Search context across pages

Destination, travel dates, room and guest counts, nationality, and currency remain available as users move from search results to hotel details and booking. Keeping that context avoids restarting the search when they compare rooms or continue checkout.

Implementation considerations

The booking journey spans several pages and uses parameters such as destination, dates, room and guest counts, nationality, and currency. Those values must remain consistent from search results through booking. The interface also connects to multiple Laravel API endpoints, maintains login sessions, and handles email 2FA before users access B2B features.

Delivery

The portal brings search, booking, and status monitoring into one journey. Persistent search parameters help users continue across pages, while email 2FA adds another verification step at login.
